Mind and emotion reprogramming

Sometimes we get caught up in our emotions and the overwhelming feeling results in various uncomfortable sensations within our bodies : anger, fear, anxiety, panic… The best way to deal with these occurrences is to allow the emotion to follow its course. At times, the need to control or resist the discomfort is what causes it to increase and make things feel difficult or even exhausting.

These tools might help you in managing what you’re going through and release whatever blockages are causing you to react the way you do:

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) : is an approach to communication, personal development, and psychoterapy (..) claim(ing) there is a connection between neurological processes (neuro-), language (linguistic) and behavioral patterns learned through experience (programming), and that these can be changed to achieve specific goals in life. (source: Wikipedia) Here is a page with Free tips organized in topics to help you get started.

Meditation : is the art of practicing mindfulness and stillness for a certain amount of time. It allows to slow things down for a little bit and just be in the moment which can help tremendously when feeling overwhelmed. You can do it in silence, or repeat a phrase in your mind over and over again, to keep your focus centered. If you find it difficult to do it on your own, you can use guided meditation or even soothing sounds ( I love thunder and rain for example ) to get you in the right mindset. Youtube is your best tool to find what you need.
